After discovering she can see everyone’s imaginary friends, a girl embarks on a magical adventure to reconnect forgotten imaginary friends with their kids.

IF. A movie directed by John Krasinski. Honestly you had me at that. My favorite show ever is The Office (Krasinski is one of the main actors on that show) so I’ll watch pretty much anything he makes, but this movie also had a cute premise. A girl who can see abandoned Imaginary Friends and wants to help them is really cute, plus Ryan Reynolds! Not to mention the insane voice cast this movie has, but I was pretty surprised to see all the negative reviews, so that worried me a little. But I was pretty excited going into it and I walked out, Really liking it and totally disagreeing with the critics on this one.

If is such a cute charming movie! First off all of the acting is really good. The actress who plays the young girl Cailey Fleming is actually incredible in this movie and Ryan Reynolds if of course great in this as well and is hilarious. Steve Carell who plays the big purple guy on all the posters is also great, and so is John Krasinski’s directing. The movie is also very funny and also really heartwarming and wholesome as well.

I will say this movie doesn’t really feel like a movie that like a 20 yr old could go into and love, they same way something like Inside Out 2 they could love it, this feels like something that more kids would get into and not older teens. Which is ok too.

IF feels like the movie everyone is always complaining that Hollywood should make. An original, nice, funny, family movie for all ages with talented people making it. If you have young kids and wanna watch a movie for the whole family I do recommend this movie.
